In the Truck with Stevie

One of my main projects, hour long episodes each day Monday through Friday. Whether you’re starting your own business, looking to grow it, or just love talking shop, this is the podcast for you.

The Show

Each day I release an hour long episode speaking specifically to the day to day activities of a small business owner focused on providing contracting services.

Contractor Interviews

Every day I speak with contractors who run their own business. I interview some of them, and share those discussions with my listeners.

Sales and Marketing

This is definitely one of the biggest challenges every business owner faces. I regularly share my experiences and provide tips to help you grow.

Shop Talk & War Stories

Running a business isn't all roses. So, sometimes we'll talk about the boring and horrifying aspects of being an independent contractor, too.

Top Episodes

My listeners let me know when they love an episode, so I’ve decided to feature those here.

Motivation

The first episode, ever. Listeners have told me they really liked the honesty - both in the sense of not pulling any punches, and with my own story. Listen now.

As of right now, my Podcast seems to be too new to be featured on Apple’s platforms, but I am working on it.

It takes 2-3 times as long to finish producing and publishing an episode than the listening time. For instance, a one hour episode takes about two or three hours, depending on how much editing is involved. The first episode, “Motivation” took just over an hour, and it’s about 23 minutes long.

Probably not, unless you really want to spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer. There are, however, a few instances in which a podcast could become a valuable part of a contractor’s marketing mix. Feel free to get in touch if you have some questions on starting your own.
